Purpose: to provide “Emergency Transitional Housing” for Alameda County Non-Minor Dependents (NMD), and Transition Aged Youth (TAY) ages 18 to 21 years old. Sober Truth on Preventing Underage Drinking Act Grants
Purpose: To prevent and reduce alcohol use among youth and young adults ages 12-20 in communities throughout the United States. The activities that are implemented in the project will aim to address community norms regarding alcohol use by youth, reduce opportunities for underage drinking by limiting youth access to alcohol, create changes in underage drinking enforcement efforts, address penalties for underage use, and/or reduce the prevalence of negative consequences associated with underage drinking (e.g., motor vehicle crashes, sexual assaults)

Adult Reentry Grant Program
Purpose: The grant program is aimed at providing support to individuals formerly incarcerated in state prison. This Request for Proposals (RFP) will address funding available for the 1) Rental Assistance and 2) Warm Hand-Off Reentry Services components of the grant. The RFP does not include a process for applying for grant funding for the third component of the grant: Rehabilitation of Existing Property. Youth Reinvestment Grant – Tribal Youth Diversion Grant
Purpose: to divert Indian children from entering, or furthering their involvement in, the juvenile justice system. Funded grant programs will use trauma- informed, community-based, and wellness-based interventions to deliver diversion programs and/or services to Indian children in communities where there are: High rates of juvenile arrests; High rates of suicide; High rates of alcohol and substance abuse; Average high school graduation rates that are lower than 75 percent.

Integrated Services for Minor Victims of Human Trafficking

Edward Byrne Memorial Justice Assistance Grant (JAG) Program
Purpose: To provide critical funding necessary to support state and local initiatives, to include: technical assistance, strategic planning, research and evaluation (including forensics), data collection, training, personnel, equipment, forensic laboratories, supplies, contractual support, and criminal justice information systems.
Funder: Board of State and Community Corrections (BSCC)
Applicant: Only California’s 58 counties are eligible to apply, individually or in partnership with other counties.
Amount: Funding is set aside to equitably distribute it between the small (population less than 200,001), medium (population 200,001-700,000), and large counties (population over 700,000). The funding threshold is up to $220,000 annually for small counties, up to $715,000 annually for medium counties, and up to $1,045,625 annually for large counties. Applications including multiple counties can apply for higher amounts, as detailed in the RFP.
