New! Faith and Spirituality-Based Mental Illness Stigma Reduction Services for Africans and African Americans
Purpose: To increase protective factors and decrease risk factors to mitigate the negative impacts of stigma around mental illness. Further, the program aims to empower African and African American communities to determine their own unique pathways to psychological wellness and community restoration. Service will be provided in welcoming, faith practice settings in which participants may find safety, acceptance and inclusion while respecting the traditions, sacred rituals and customs that affirm their collective dignity.

New! Alameda County Census Outreach Grants
Purpose: To conduct Census 2020 education and outreach to Hard-to-Count (HTC) communities throughout Alameda County. Grants range between $5,000 – $50,000. Grant applications must specify which HTC populations the organization will promote Census participation in 2020. In order to maximize resources, organizations should focus their efforts on the outreach they are best at conducting and rely on the County Census Office for materials, communication content, trainings, and technical assistance.

Purpose: To improve HIV-related health outcomes and general well-being among people living with HIV (PLWH). In addition, because effective HIV treatment eliminates the risk of HIV transmission, the RWHAP also contributes to overall public health. All PLWH in Alameda County who meet the RWHAP eligibility requirements may obtain services.

New! Minority AIDS Initiative (MAI) HIV Care & Treatment Services for Young Men of Color who have sex with Men and Transgender Women of Color in Alameda County
Purpose: To enhance available HIV-related health and support services for eligible YMSM and African American and Latinx transgender women living with HIV infection in Alameda County. The County is issuing the RFP in order to select the bidder best qualified to deliver tailored services to these priority populations.

New! Continuum of Care Program Competition
Purpose: to promote a community-wide commitment to the goal of ending homelessness; to provide funding for efforts by nonprofit providers, States, and local governments to quickly re-house homeless individuals, families, persons fleeing domestic violence, and youth while minimizing the trauma and dislocation caused by homelessness; to promote access to and effective utilization of mainstream programs by homeless; and to optimize self- sufficiency among those experiencing homelessness.

New! Ryan White HIV/AIDS Program Part A HIV Emergency Relief Grant Program
Purpose: To provide direct financial assistance to an eligible metropolitan area (EMA) or a transitional grant area (TGA) that has been severely affected by the HIV epidemic. Grant funds assist eligible jurisdictions to develop or enhance access to a comprehensive continuum of high quality, community- based care for people with HIV who are low-income through the provision of formula, supplemental, and Minority AIDS Initiative (MAI) funds.

New! Specialized Housing and Services for Victims of Human Trafficking
Purpose: To enhance the quality and quantity of safe housing and specialized services available to assist victims of human trafficking, as defined by the Trafficking Victims Protection Act (TVPA) of 2000, as amended. This includes specialized housing and services that are enhanced by a collaborative and coordinated community response that engages appropriate community resources.

Purpose: To facilitate and encourage innovative homeownership opportunities on a national, geographically diverse basis through the provision of self-help homeownership housing programs. Applicants must propose to use a significant amount of SHOP Grant funds in at least two states.

New! San Francisco Nonprofit Sustainability Initiative
Purpose: The Nonprofit Sustainability Initiative helps San Francisco’s nonprofits secure new, nonprofit-owned space and creates solutions for organizations seeking long-term leases. Under this initiative, Community Vision administers two programs — the Nonprofit Space Investment Fund and the Nonprofit Space Stabilization Program. The programs provide technical and financial assistance to support nonprofit sustainability amidst a changing and volatile real estate market.
