Dear HTA Clients and Friends,
25 years ago, my late wife Dina and I founded HTA with a vision to address societal inequities, especially those that affected low-income children, youth, and families. Since then, we have raised more than $1.2 BILLION in government and private grants for our clients. We have also completed 760 discrete evaluations for 114 clients. We have helped hundreds of nonprofit and public agencies serve hundreds of thousands of community residents across the Bay Area, California, and nationally.
As we celebrate these accomplishments, I feel it is time to encourage new energy and innovation at HTA. Therefore, I am announcing my retirement and transition to a new leadership team of senior staff who collectively bring more than 80 years of experience at HTA. These long-term staff are committed to putting our clients and communities first, to maintaining the high quality of work you expect from HTA. HTA’s leadership and ownership will transition to a five-person Board of Directors.

This team will continue handling your projects and inquiries and will ensure a seamless transition. You can expect your work with us to continue without change or disruption – and with the same high-quality service you expect from HTA. The company’s operations will continue under the name HTA Consulting to build on its strong reputation and its mission will remain unchanged – to support and empower organizations to create a more healthy, educated, equitable and just society.
