HTA would like to congratulate the following school districts for successfully applying for 5-year grants through the California Department of Education’s California Community Schools Partnership Program
- Alameda County Office of Education–awarded $712,500 to support community school programming at the Alameda Community School.
- Hayward Unified School District–$5,462,500 for four schools.
- John Swett Unified School District–$2,612,500 for two schools.
- Monterey Peninsula Unified School District–$8,787,500 for six schools.
- Pittsburg Unified School District–$9,737,500 for seven schools.
- Sacramento County Office of Education–$1,900,000 for two schools.
We are also pleased to congratulate several school districts for receiving expanded learning program grants from the California Department of Education:
- Alameda County Office of Education, 21st Century High School ASSETS grant for the Alameda Community School in the amount of $91,620 per year for five years.
- Hayward Unified School District, 21st Century Community Learning Center grants for nine schools, totaling $2,838,508 per year for five years, as well as a 21st Century High School ASSETS grant for Brenkwitz High, for $183,240/year.
- Oakland Unified School District, awarded 21st Century High School ASSETS grants for three high schools, totaling $692,240 per year for five years.
