HTA wishes to congratulate two Oakland-based organizations for their recently awarded three-year contracts from the Oakland Workforce Development Board:
- The Oakland Private Industry Council, which will lead the American Job Centers of California in both downtown Oakland and West Oakland (via a yearly award of $720,000) and serve as the One-Stop Operator for the City’s Workforce Investment & Opportunity Act System ($80,000/year).
- The Unity Council, which will provide workforce services to youth ($150,000/year) and serve as the Business Intermediary for City-funded workforce service providers ($200,000/year).
