Congrats to the Family Emergency Shelter Coalition (FESCO), which was awarded $81,320 by the Alameda County Department of Housing and Community Development and the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development through their Continuum of Care grant program. This grant will support FESCO’s transitional housing site, Banyan House, in providing temporary housing and wraparound support services for homeless families with children in Alameda County. FESCO was also awarded a grant from the Drysdale Community Foundation to support services for homeless families.<\/p>\n

Congratulations to the Monterey Peninsula Unified School District for its successful CalEd grant application to the California Center on Teaching Careers.<\/p>\n
